Parents should use their own discretion when sending their children to the center if weather, road or transport conditions have not returned to normal after signals are lowered. These measures are taken solely for your children\u2019s safety.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

2. Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 1 or No. 3<\/p><\/td>

Sessions operate as usual.<\/p>

Note:<\/strong> for the safety of your children, parents should determine whether to send your child to the center at your own discretion<\/p><\/td><\/tr>

3. Pre-No. 8 Special Announcement & Signal No. 8 or above<\/td>

Still hoisted at 7:00 am<\/u><\/strong><\/p>

Centre will be closed for the whole day; all sessions will be automatically cancelled. Scheduled on-line session will continue as usual.<\/p><\/td><\/tr>

Pre-No. 8 Special Announcement or Signal No. 8 or above \u2013 hoisted when classes are in session<\/strong><\/td>
  • All sessions will be cancelled right away.<\/strong><\/li>
  • Parents have to arrange to pick up your children as soon as you can while the weather condition is still safe to travel.<\/li>
  • Home session family<\/strong> – in the event of Pre-No. 8 is hoisted during your session time, please inform your therapist and arrange for the session to wrap up so the therapist can leave your home as soon as possible, before the No. 8 signal is hoisted<\/li><\/ul><\/td><\/tr>
4. Black Rainstorm Warning Signal<\/td>Still hoisted at or before 9:00 am<\/u><\/strong><\/td>

Parents are required to stay alert to the Black Rainstorm Warning Signal\u00a0cancellation time<\/strong> and the session resumption time<\/strong>. Sessions will resume two (2) hours after<\/strong> the Black Rainstorm Warning Signal is cancelled. More details please refer to Table 1<\/em>.<\/p>

Note:<\/strong> If children have already arrived at our Centre between 8:45-9:00 am, we will remain open for sheltering purposes only. Parents\/caretakers are required to stay in the Centre with their children during this time.<\/em><\/p><\/td><\/tr>

  • Non-Centre Base Session (Home \/ Shadow)- If the Black Rainstorm Warning Signal is still hoisted 2 hours prior to the session, or is still hoisted after 1:45 pm, the session will be cancelled.<\/li>
  • Children can remain in the Centre \/ Home until the end of the session and conditions are safe for them to return home.<\/li>
